But yes, I agree with you. CE is big and varied enough to have other stories in it, like UC. I'd love to see more grunts and their stories. Focusing on Kira and friends exclusively will make the setting feel small but moving on from them risks alienating the gigantic install base. So it's a tricky situation.

Ideally they'd find the way to introduce more characters and conflicts while relegating the main cast as important but supporting characters. Or they could just milk them until they're dry, that's the safest and most financially optimal decision. SEED Freedom is set only 1 year after Destiny. These guys are still young. Shinn and Luna are still underage kids lmao
