I draw a webcomic and stuck pretty religiously to a 2x3 format. Lately I've really enjoyed using 3x3 for the sake of how much info can be crammed into a page- though it can easily look far more cramped than a 2x3 if I'm not careful. The most kino option is some mix between 1x3, 2x3 and 3x3, like picrel
