Anyone else feel like they need to save money like crazy now in advance of the inevitable AI flattening that has already started? I am 40 and trying to get to 1.5M ASAP in the next few years so I can quit software forever and just do woodworking/golf all day. My company is already laying off people under the "AI efficiency" mandate and it's only getting worse.
