The latter figure, for men, is usually middle age guys who promote misogyny under the guise of Ye Olde Reliable Wisdom and then either warped versions of Christianity or Islam with cherry picked quotes or weird hustler/businessman/corporate exec advice to justify being total degenerates, for women it's political science majors who promote misandry under the guise of Fighting The Man's Rigged System and insist that everyone should be a socialist or communist and any opposition is just The Man talking to deceive you and bring forth the Hitlerpocalypse

This will probably continue forever because the idea that you shouldn't be prejudiced in general is actively undermined by the prejudice of people who appoint themselves as identifiers of (and guardians against) prejudice

Also being bigoted in general is really fun and funny and always correct, you should strive to be as racist and sexist as possible
