>one book exaggerating the truth for entertainment purposes disproves literal mountains of first person testimonies from former Sega employees over the last three decades
>never mind the OTHER book that was written by an autist who was there during that era of Sega, documenting the events on his website as it unfolded, with tons of sources, that echoes the same sentiments mentioned above
But please, do go on and tell me how Sega of Japan were gud bois who dindu nuffin and it was big mean stinky doodooheaded Am*ricans who ruined Sega, or how Tom Kalinske is a pathological liar who just made up a bunch of bullshit to save face for a job he hasn't had in nearly three decades. I'm dying to hear it.
Why is it so hard to accept that both sides of Sega during the 90s made their share of mistakes? And that higher ups at Sega of Japan probably instigated a lot of it for no other reason than sheer pettiness? Is it really that far fetched? Do we really not have tons of other examples of other Japanese companies behaving in a very similar manner towards foreigners, to say nothing of their own people?
I hate this East vs West shit like you wouldn't believe, but I hate the dishonesty and willful ignorance even more.
