Aleksander Dugin, who seized power in Russia following its failure in the European War, has announced Russia's intention to create a Eurasian Empire, that would span from the Atlantic to the Pacific.
Dugin, a philosopher who came into prominence in the 1990s and prophetically concluded America would one day collapse and Balkanize, co-founded the National-Bolshevik Party with Eduard Limonov in 1993. Some have called Dugin a Neo-Nazi, and most if not all would agree he is an extreme nationalist. He remains an ardent advocate for the supremacy of Russian identity and territorial expansion.
After he took control of Moscow, he had every other political party banned. Now he rules Russia with an iron fist, and his comments on Eurasia have led many to speculate that a second European War likely will occur sometime in the future unless Dugin can be stopped.
