The whole AI discussion is a mess.

Personally when it comes to arts, I don't see the appeal of it and most things just look plastic, but I don't doubt there will come a time when it will become a tool used in the industry. As it stands right now, AI is being used by mediocre wannabe artists and/or normies that have the mentality of pretty=good and the ones who could do something good with it are stuck with the mentality that AI is Satan incarnate.
