well, that settles that. kablooie. more or less, will need time to confirm i think, tomorrow's briefing should have more info. as much as it pains me to do, i have to admit that baggie was right and prescient. i really thought they were going to talk it out and i was legitimately surprised when it happened. obviously the best strategic outcome, we will see about the diplomatic fallout tomorrow, but i imagine people are just going to have to cope with this. possible still this could escalate, but i do doubt it, even if china were willing to assist, to do so now when such an important objective is already lost makes even less sense than before. think markets will be fine, would buy a dip on monday, would buy the crypto dip now, but i think we'll be green. they might do a gift selloff on monday, real plunge, and then in the midst of it do a surprise rate cut and get a terrific rally. i know, fantastic and cynical, but i can see that happening, would help with people's coping, lotta people probably think we need to go lower because of a large-font headline. anyways see you all later.
