Grass types that can learn bullet seed. Just machine gun down anything like, 5 squares ahead of you. Chikorita is my best friend

It took me so many tries to get through Purity Forest in Blue that now all level 1 dungeons that let you bring items seem like easy mode

I found a Thunderbolt TM alarmingly early in my Bulbasaur/Skitty playthrough of sky that helped carry me all the way through. That was pretty lucky, I guess

Probably depends on species, but all pokemon that have Flash Fire can swim in lava. Heidi swims in lava
