Alright. Jokes aside, Monster excells in style over substance. The visuals, the music, the characters, I just see it as a way of experiencing beauty. For me, the experience is similar to appreciating a painting. It's pretty comfy and relaxing to me in that sense. But I think you have to actually enjoy that type of recreation in order to like Monster in the first place. It takes a very specific type of people. A similar thing happens with the Saw movies or the Silent Hill games made by Team Silent.
