World is just way more rich than Rise.

>every single monster theme has been ruined with chant cacophony and shitty jap vocals, Rajang lacks weight and primal energy and has some old dude orgasming in the background, Teostra sounds like a gay fashion show in Saudi Arabia and Bazel theme is some Disney Channel variation of the original
>no living world, no meaningful endemic life, no passive large monsters - they all attack you on sight with no variety in behavior
>no actual hunting, monster shown on map instantly with no tracking (which World started to finally figure out in the series instead of using shitty paintballs and rewarded you with research points for tracking)
>village unironically sucks and is extremely boring in design, Astera was a chore to get around but it was memorable at least with some cool music, the gay Jap singing in Kamura is making me sick, also no day/night theme and NPCs are static
>instead of soulful mountain of meat we get some gay dango buttplugs as food
>maps feel uninspired, most will not miss Ancient Forest, but Wildspire Waste beats most of Rise levels IMO
>color palette is extremely washed out and bland, levels feel simply unfinished like they forgot to add clutter and proper lightning, caves look especially bad
>no rank/beta/alpha armor variety, so both theorycrafting and fashioncrafting has been extremely limited
>rampage sucks
>wyvern riding sucks and completely breaks the pace of the hunt, also changes music for some reason when World had riding monster variation for every theme
>extremely shitty art direction, especially with ugly as fuck fonts, World was extremely consistent and beautiful
>ugly big UI that covers most of the screen and that you cannot scale on PC
>no fucking Investigations, people unironically defend grinding same quests
>RISE has paid layered armor and weapons

I could go on for even more details, but i think they made World unironically too fucking good and set the bar too high
