It's just kinda boring compared to other shooters released at the time like the build trilogy or sci fi games like System Shock.

This game is such a chore. Nonstop back to back gameplay, it's like you don't get a second for respite, just ACTION ACTION ACTION! No character development, no cutscenes, no chill moments, THERE ISN'T EVEN ANY INCENTIVE TO FIND LOW KEY ODD COZY SPOTS YOU WANT TO DRINK A BEER AT FOR FRICKS SAKE! This game is nothing like the perfect balancing act Half Life 2 performs, blending cinematic moments within it's gameplay. Half Life 2 set the standard for AAA games are today while Crap Life 1 feels like a relic that should remain forgotten. Thoughts?
