Minecraft is the OG I was referring to.
I looked up the modpack >>715070521 has suggested and it looks Ok, but not really special.
From what I know the mod devs are the ones complaining when someone dares to use their stuff or update it.
So I am generally indifferent at this point.
Unless I feel like making my own modpack again, I likely wont play anthing beyond the OG that you mentioned.
