For me, the reason I don't carrot at all about street fights is that there is no real skill involved most of the time, just emotions and low iq bums trying to inflict damage. But unlike that other anon said sports is not about beating the shit out of eachother, it's about winning. I like the walking through fire without getting burned aspect of it, ie. putting yourself in harm's way but deflecting and avoiding pinches calmly while landing your own. Knockouts are fine and all but what's more impressive to me is being elusive and looking cool while you're in there.
