I mean the pro SKG people love to engage in speculation and going into the weeds a lot, I understand that it's fun to do that but ultimately at this point this initiative is just "the gaming industry is too laissez faire, the government should start drawing some lines in the sand" and that's fine, I think people can agree with that, but when you start going into the weeds of "oh f2p microtransactions should be like this and that" then I think you just start losing to people and start getting into pointless bickering yourself, if there will be actual regulations written into law then that'll be a long process involving lawyers from customer protection agencies, industry representatives and eu commission appointees, then once they produced a draft the public can decide what they think about it, it's not gonna be "oh anon on 4chan said that all f2p games should be deleted so that's the law now"
