I quite like pic related (movie) where the zombie outbreak is caused by voodoo curse in the Caribbean, and the movie isn't afraid of just sincerely running with it and making it grimdark. It also gives the movie properly apocalyptic vibe despite it's scope being limited - the fuck is humanity going to do against literal evil sorcery they cannot understand or contain? Supernatural zombies are cool and I stand by it, more modern zombie media should just embrace black magic zombies.
