Gungriffon Blaze seemed a bit barebones to me. I didn't know there was a Gungriffon game for the xbox. I'll have to check that out.

I like gen 1 too. Conceptually them being the first generation of armored cores is fun and the designs are still good even if very blocky. Some of the cg renders are beautiful.
I think gen 4 is where the designs started get out of hand with many of them being too much.

Warframe has a couple of Necramechs that are small mechas you can call down and hop into on certain types of missions. Kind of a half-baked concept as they added them in one update and never added any more but still fun for a bit. The best thing about them is that they get to use Archguns which are these big ass guns the Warframes can't normally* use. Takes a lot of playing to unlock the Necramechs though. Warframe is a huge time investment. Can't really recommend it as a game and I've played hundreds of hours.
