Looks pretty much the same.
I think the core issue is that people are pretending to not understand that the launch of the PoE2 beta was a massively promoted event that brought in a lot of new players. GGG wasn't expecting to hit that peak again until full release, which they openly said in interviews during the first hype period.
So it's too early to doompost.
