Is just that i really loved the game. I didnt mind the roguelike shit. You were at the end of the run anyhow.
Game is built around 3 biome runs. Once you finished that boss you would have opened the 2nd half of the game which is a different 3 biome run.
As you said it, it is what it is. Not all games are for everybody.
