Come to think of it, all the disgusting Slovenian food was brought here by foreigners in the 20th century. Wanna take a closer look? Exhibit one: Serbian bean stew. Who WANTS to eat nothing but beans? Gross.

So nowadays you've got taquerias even in Slovenia and they serve the Mexican dishes that are popular with Americans - tacos, burritos, empanadas. There was even a restaurant where you could probably get some of the slightly less americanized dishes like chiles relenos or tamales. Still, I doubt white Americans ever eat menudo. It's the same with balkanoid food here, if you want some of the stews and soups as opposed to grilled dishes, savory pastries and sweets, you have to go to a traditional Bosnian restaurant, and those are rarer.
