Yeah this game is "realistic", unless realism would benefit the player in some way, in which case it's nerfed or mysteriously worked around. If I wanted a crushing masochistic experience I'd play UnderRail where at least the devs are honest about what it's about.

It's obvious the devs have never done any exercise since they were made to do some in school. The ridiculous "muscle strain" nonsense and the fact you have to grind harder than an Olympic athlete to see marginal benefits.
This update is great though if your Zombie Apocalypse dream is to run into the woods to become a medieval blacksmith, and you're inured against grinding because you played MMOs until your brain broke. Everyone else can get fucked.
