Best to worst
>Universal Tour
Like World Tour but more
>World Tour
The perfect arcade update, World Tour does everything the original did but better
>Total Destruction
It be higher up if the controls weren’t so clunky. BTW while the Wii version may look like the best one, the waggle controls really suck and I don’t think you can plug in a classic controller to play normally although I could be wrong
>the original
I mean it’s still a really fun game it’s just that it’s sequels just do what it does but better. Fun fact: despite what a ton of old sites on the Internet say, there’s actually no statistical difference between the monsters. They all control the same. The only difference is which human you can hold in your hand.
>Puzzle Attack
It alright. If you never played it then you might be surprised to learn it’s not a Puyo or Tetris ripoff but that it’s actually a clone of a game called “Drop Mania” which was only ever sold by Finnish ice cream vans in the summer of 1999, yes really.
>Through Time
Dogshit. It would be an amazing update to Universal Tour if it wasn’t for three things: 1) it was Playstation only and not compatible with the multitap so you’re limited to two player, 2) despite that there has to be THREE monsters in every fucking stage even if you’re playing with a friend, you still have to deal with an AI monster and said AI is stuck on “huge, dumb asshole” and actively sabotages you at every turn, and 3) the reason there has to be three monsters is that every fourth stage is some shitty mutiplayer minigame that you HAVE to win otherwise it’s a game over. Don’t bother.
Also I’ve never played the arcade game they made for the movie but it’s not retro anyway so whatever.
