You think that's bad? Imagine being an ESL who doesn't spend half of their time on social media reading posts about muh genders. The whole them/they thing to refer to 1 character feels like getting aneurysm, at times it even feels like reading stuff with bad grammar (but only makes sense if you are way too deep into gender discourse). Makes sense in a way since Kris is 2 entities in one, but most characters don't know this and just feels confusing.
Are Americans even aware of this issue?
