I would like to add one more thing about your bit on the trail of blood. Look at the walls. You can see claw marks all over in addition to the blood. Everything would lead you to believe that some sort of monster was on the loose. Just to get to the end and learn it was Sephiroth that killed President Shinra. Now the two stories don't mix. Sephiroth's sword swipes don't match what looks like a rampage through the Shinra Tower. It's because it's not Sephiroth. It's Jenova as a monster. It's your first clue about Jenova's ability to shapeshift
