Kratos was carried by the BoO and Power of Hope. He was doing well but he really had no way to put Zeus down until he pulled those two things out.

That one was weird and it’s definitely strange they mentioned fucking Freyr over the guy. But then if you use Thor, then you have that scene of him killing Kratos with a bonk to the head. Though Kratos beating those guys are impressive in a vacuum, but it just doesn’t match up to Asura’s… everything. Most of Kratos’s scaling relies on him beating other people and all his strength and speed feats aren’t even a fraction as impressive as Asura’s.
