Depends on what you buy, but the current American trucks are largely shit. All the $100k+ V8 GM trucks have dogshit engines. The 6.2s are grenading themselves at sometimes 5 digit mileage, then GM replaces the broken engine with a new one with the same defective design. Ford's 3.5 Ecoboost in the F150 has been problematic too, and Lord knows how bad Dodge's new Hurricane I6 will be.
