Eh like I said in that post I linked, chance encounter finding her by herself when going to the bathroom or getting a drink or something during lunch and he gets curious about the game she’s playing since he’s also a slacker who likes games but isn’t super into video games since he’s also a normie. Thus he most likely isn’t familiar with whatever old handheld she has or what game she’s into and that turns into a discussion.

It’s the result of also trying to think of a natural way for them to end up interacting somehow in a normal life scenario lol.
