I've never found this to be a useful feature, the Xbox controller shape on pretty much all controllers out of China means your thumbs are slamming against eachother if put into a symmetrical layout (see NYXI Flexi pictured), and on a Playstation shaped controller like the Tarantula Pro "why would you even want that" is a legitimate question to ask because both d-pad and stick are comfortable to reach in their normal orientation.
