Man, I remember some fucking loser on Newgrounds in 2002. He made a flash cartoon about Peter going to Fox to complain directly at Seth McFarlane. The animation was decent, but completely off model and that cartoon was the unfunniest shit ever. It literally was a suck-up attempt towards Seth, with Seth being represented as a flawless level-headed saint. It was this dude's attempt to get hired into the industry. And I remember the reaction he got from Seth when he saw it months later was something like: "Mehh okay, the fuck did I just watch" and this made the guy completely break down and he stopped trying. Most of that stuff is probably long gone by now. It always stuck with me how cringy it all was.
