Best visual example is Kira piloting the Strike Rouge in Seed Destiny. By the time of Seed Destiny needless to say he is a well seasoned pilot who has mastery over his natural abilities. He manages to tag a couple of current era MSs but the other 3 dodged him. Then soon afterwards the Strike Rouge gets completely blown apart piece by piece.
