It all started with the Fantavision pseudo-remake a year or two ago - that wasn't actually Bamco but some obscure studio formed by some old ex-Japan Studio guys. Basically it looks like they're game to license any old IP that they don't ever plan on touching again.

I hope Soul Sacrifice gets another chance, especially since Inafune said a pitch he made for a PS4 port was rejected and Yoshida even revealed last month that a sequel was in the early stages of production but canned because HQ wanted to reallocate the budget to other things.
