I've had this issue for around 3 years, the pain got so bad last year that I couldn't do any physical activity. I couldn't sleep, I could barely focus, the pain was ever present and almost unbearable.
I started doing lower back and hamstring stretches and the pain went away in 2 weeks.
Try doing the pic rel stretch every day for 5 minutes and then some upper back rotation stretches. Gl anon
