The mayor of Rishon LeZion, a city just south of Tel Aviv, expressed shock at the extent of destruction caused by the recent Iranian bombardment, stating:
I have seen much in my life, but I have never witnessed such devastation before. The scenes are extremely painful, looks just like Gaza.
