I can't find anything false about what you said, holding women and men to the same standards of dignity and behavior will drive you crazy. Like you can have a ostensibly non-sexual place like a office and half of the people will be painting their face to appear younger and beautiful and the other half would have their sanity doubted were they to do the same, and the only difference is their gender. If you view these norms the same way an alien watching from a telescope would you realize it's rather silly and contradictory. A problem is that men and women use the same words for concepts like "success" or "power" but have deeply different understandings of them.
