The say that Tabata's company submitted a completed demo for Project JEWEL in July 2024 and that after evaluating it they requested changes to "meet market needs" which is business speak for saying they are demanding Tabata add in microtransactions, GAAS online forced content and other "AAA live service" stuff for "profitability" in the long run, while Tabata is only focusing on making it a traditional single player console game
Basically until Tabata makes whatever changes they request only then will they resume funding it and proceeding with the 36 month development plan after that, so at this point say it does resume that means its a 2028 title at minimum right now.
