I think Rean fundamentally has a way worse problem when it comes to romance. It gets reset in every cold steel game and Kai ultimately renders your choices as a player meaningless. Van's romance on the other hand is closer to your typical harem, but I honestly don't know what falcom will do with it. The safest bet is that there'll be no definitive romance and it'll be stuck in harem teasings without a proper resolution. Fans might get real angry with this outcome thoughbeit.
