i just set up a little snoot of a half pour each of:
elijah craig, evan williams sib, heavan hill bottled in bond, mckenna 10 bib and tried them all blind. the normal craig was as good as anything excepting the mckenna, which drank about exactly its 6 proof points better.
you can understand this by the fact that their barrel picks are all 8-12 years old so it's averaging 10ish years.it used to be a 12 year age statement and they may have pulled that statement in the boom era, but i guess they didn't have the balls to destroy the profile.
