No truly paranormal but during my childhood in BSA I would routinely wake up in the middle of the night and feel this dissociative feeling with the outside, as if my tent was in space. And yet sometimes also there was a feeling of another force out there, not a person perhaps (no “bumps in the night”) but just something strangely cosmic out there
