It feels so good knowing that Paul W.S. Anderson has altered Resident Evil so deeply that eventually "faithful" adaptations of the games will be indistinguishable from his films. It's only a matter of time before the ancient civilization stuff from his Monster Hunter movie pops up in the games, since it was something Capcom co-wrote with him.
