The Chief of Staff for Auburn football has quit to take a job as a fund raiser at Liberty. He came to Auburn from Liberty with Hugh Freeze. That's he's jumping off the Freeze ship to a much lower level position at a far lower level school is highly unusual. It's possible he simply wanted to return to Virginia "to spend more time with family" but more likely is trying to get ahead of what's coming for the program this season.
