I pay $82.64 per paycheck, $2148 in premiums per year, (My employer pays about another $3000) and that's for an HMO (Kaiser). Pretty much everything is covered, I have no deductible, and I just have to pay copays for in-person visits. Sometimes I have OOP expenses, but they are very minor. Not sure why this person is allowing himself to be ripped off.
