i have no idea what is going on. at first i thought it was this permissions crap, but i've taken full ownership and every group has full control over the directory. and then i thought it was windows defender's ransomware protection that's doing it because it tends to force read only on folders, but that's off for me. i couldn't get MO2 launch to write anything in shader cache no matter what my administrator launch settings were so i just gave up. using jsgme now and game is making shader cache as normal so i'm just gonna forget about using mo2 i guess. very weird because on anomaly it's fine for me.
