>Dannys dad is killed by black men
>because of this, Danny dives deep into anti-black rhetoric
>He joins an Neo-Nazi skinhead crowd and his intelligence is noticed where he is made a leader figure of the group by and older Neo-Nazi
>this older neo-nazi takes the place of the gap left by his father and fuels the flames of hatred in Danny for his own ends
>When Danny realizes Neo-Nazis are just thugs, he tries to leave and prevent his younger brother from following in his footsteps, realzing that the mentor is simply using them and doesnt really care about them
The Believer
>Daniel is a self hating jew that becomes a neo-nazi skinhead

American History X is a much more compelling story and its not even close.
