The one thing that is never mentioned when they discuss the rising queue times of high elo games is Riot's incompetence. If the game stayed fun or balanced people wouldn't be leaving in droves and queue times wouldn't be so high.

wrong. in NA for most of the game's life the most you'd have to wait for a GM-challenger game was 10 minutes. now thats what i wait for a masters game during prime hours.
there is a clear, factual degradation of enjoyment of the game and the only people that can be blamed are those responsible for gameplay decisions aka the balance team.
running from one objective to the next for 30 minutes isn't fun. having every game be decided by 1 of the 2 junglers isn't fun. having no answers for tanky champions becoming unkillable isn't fun.
