I don't buy "Ralsei is Kris's ideal self/fursona" because Ralsei is nothing like Kris. He's not a better version of Kris, he's a totally different person. Maybe he resembles Asriel but that would make Ralsei a substitute Asriel, not another version of Kris, and Kris seems quite insistent about making distinctions between Ralsei and Asriel.
