They are not endorsing what Paul say, because what Paul says is not scripture. In that letter they specifically endorse the scripture that Paul brings.
What was scripture to them? The Torah and the testimony of their own eye witness. That's what they endorsed.
To these guys Saul knocks on their door, one of the most not Christian killers, says he saw Jesus in the wilderness and says he repents.
