Not the best look that they aired together, but I didn't really dislike him in either episode. Having to wait just to get a table when you're already hungry sucks no matter what your age, so having that be the initial driving force only for him to realize it was really his impulsiveness that he needed to fight worked for me. It was also funny to see Tilly get weird and worship the buzzer. The whole episode felt like it was from an early season that they never got around to making until now.
Since the second episode focuses on Nancy's side of things, I was thinking less of Cricket acting out and more of the other times she has gone to great lengths to set a good influence for the kids. Specifically, it put me in mind most of the Drive-In episode where she sees something and makes a bigger deal of it than it really is.
