Do pylons increase RCS even after you've fired the weapon mounted on them? In any case, this is a pretty comfy loadout for anti-air, still a lower RCS than an Ifrit / Compass / Revoker without externals. The single mounts for Scimitars have less radar return than Scythes, but they are the same for the double mounts, oddly enough. 8x Scythes is pretty good BVR capability, especially when you fire two at one target but in different directions, so the enemy can't notch both missiles at the same time. Is there any indication whatsoever for when your missile goes active and doesn't need your guidance anymore? 6x IRMs are good not just for dogfights and ambushes, but shooting down enemy missiles. Stratolaunches especially, since there is sometimes just not enough time to turn away.
