I like Magicant. It's sweet.
The Giygas scene is also quite good. I liked reading about Itoi's process designing him. However the diagetic player aspect is another idea I think has been expanded and explored much better in recent years.
Other than the building of the melody and "chaotic and malicious world" which isn't portrayed well at all, everything you mention is either the very start or very end of the game. Again, it's quite literally the tail ends of a story. The pacing is utterly destroyed by the janky gameplay and literary nothing-burger that's between the beginning and end.
