The FR does look a lot better, yeah. That said, I wouldn't trust chinkfiman since even their Susvara measures worse than 500 dollar headphones. Their older models used to be really good, though. But that was long ago...

$1500+ or at whatever price point you can get a 5.1 setup with a decent subwoofer. But setting that up along with room calibration is a huge pain in the ass. That, and good luck finding a subwoofer than can output flat bass down to 20hz or less like planar magnetic drivers can.
